Children's Museum Visit

On Monday we went to the Children's Museum with Ashley, Kate, Kelly, Avery and Hannah. I forgot my camera so these are all from Ashley. I don't have any pictures of Kelly, Avery or Hannah but they were there. We probably won't be going back until next year unless we can go for free. They just didn't have much for the little ones, especially not for $12 per person!

She has just started doing this funny thing. If you ask her where something is, she throws her hands up like this, as if to say, "I don't know."

This Sunday was also our 7th wedding anniversary. We celebrated with a delicious lunch at Owen Brennan's Sunday brunch. Yummo!

Super Saturday

This past Saturday we decided to go to Shelby Farms for some family fun.

We weren't planning to do this but when we got there we saw the paddle boats and thought it would be fun. Boy, were we wrong!

The reason it wasn't fun was that both people needed to be paddling but there was no where to put Ellie Grace except in your lap and when she was in your lap you could hardly peddle. It was just not fun and then....... On our way back to the dock, our paddle thing broke and we had to float ashore.

I thought it was ironic that there was a concrete block where we landed ashore, seeing as how Josh lays those things for work.  :)

 After the boating incident we went over to the new park. It is so cool! The only things for Ellie Grace to do right now are slide and swing but when she gets older that thing is going to be so fun. I wish we could do all the stuff.

Then we headed to the mall for a merry go round ride and dinner at the food court. 

In true Josh fashion, he had her switch horses midway and ride backwards. 

It was such a fun time together. I hope to see many more Saturdays like this one.

Zoo Fun on a Gorgeous Friday

This past Friday we went to the zoo with Ashley, Kate, Erica, Hale and Camille. The weather was perfect. I thought it would be crazy crowded but it wasn't bad.

It was a fun visit. I want to go back with Josh so he can carry Ellie Grace and she'll be able to see things better.
