Sunday, July 8, 2012 & It's Official!

This is a combined post showing her Sunday outfit and declaring that she is officially a walker! I've gotten the official word from several seasoned parents that Ellie Grace is officially a walker as she definitely walks way more than she crawls now. It's really cute when she walks, of course, but pretty scary (for me at least). She hasn't had any really bad falls yet. Josh says they are inevitable but I'm really trying to keep that from happening. The scariest part is when she's walking next to something that has sharp corners because I'm afraid she'll fall into it. Here are some pictures of her from Sunday and she is walking around in most of them.

We had a wardrobe change because I felt like the blue dress was too short but then I was told it was okay at this age so she wore it to church that night. :)

Auntie Whit & BSneed gave her this dress for her birthday.

She's going to find her Daddy.

What A Difference A Year Makes!

Just the other day I was looking way back through the 1,179 pictures on my phone and realized how much Ellie Grace has changed in a year so I thought I'd do a little flashback with the 4th of July dress. It's just unbelievable to me.

my favorite!

Ellie Grace also loves to look at her baby pictures. I don't think she knows it's her but she says baby while looking at them. She especially likes to watch the videos I took of her when she was a baby. I need to take more videos, they are so fun to watch a year later!

A Staycation of Sorts

Josh went to Honduras for a week and Ellie Grace and I had a staycation at my parents' house, AKA Mia & Granddaddy. We had a great time and left very spoiled. Here are some pictures from over there, all via the iPhone.

so studious

In the next two pics she is watching a baby video. This video showed a lot of babies in it and she loved that. She says baby a lot these days.

Piper came over one day for a while and she enjoyed Ellie Grace's walker. Piper is a very seasoned walker and it was funny that she wanted to get in there. Ellie Grace has really outgrown it but I still put her in there sometimes when I need to go potty.

my Dad brought me this breakfast one day, yummo!
Of course, we are glad to have Josh home but I do miss my staycation locale and company.

My Dad's Father's Day Gift

For my Dad's Father's Day gift this year Andy, Beth & I took our children to Rhodes College to take some pictures of them all together. We actually had to go twice because the first time we had camera issues. It was quite the feat to get any pictures of all these girls looking proper at the same time.

Here's the finished product we gave my Dad. This was the perfect collage frame.

I feel like my brother's beard is blog worthy so here is a picture of him. We found these glasses while we were taking pictures. He was just modeling them at his wife's request, very studious, indeed. My brother has not had a clean shaven face in like 10 years, I keep begging him to shave it clean but he won't do it. I wonder what he's hiding in that beard!

A month of Sundays

Well, I've been quite the blogging slacker lately.  The last Sunday I posted pictures from was June 3rd! So here's a catch up of Sundays. On June 10th Ellie Grace and I stayed home from church because she was sick with a virus, so no picture from that day.

From Sunday, June 17th, Father's Day:

From Sunday, June 24th:
These pictures were taken at my parents because Josh went to Honduras on a mission trip and I cannot stay by myself so Ellie Grace and I stayed with them and got thoroughly spoiled.

No telling what Mia & Granddaddy were doing to get this face

From Sunday, July 1st:
Josh brought Ellie Grace this dress from Honduras. I love it!
