Eight Months

Ellie Grace turned 8 months old on December 19th so I decided to do a Christmas theme for her sticker picture. I'm rather pleased with it.

Here is what is going on with Ellie Grace at 8 months.
She is now eating solids at breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a "snack" bottle in the afternoon between lunch and dinner and a bottle at bedtime. She still doesn't like the sippy cup. I keep trying but she shuns it. Occasionally she'll get some water out of it and she acts like she's been poisoned. She just has the two teeth but I really think some are about to come in on the top because lately she won't go even 1 minute without putting something in her mouth and she's pretty fussy. She hasn't crawled yet. She has never gotten up on all fours by herself. You can tell she wants to be able to get to at toy but she always resorts to rolling over, maybe she won't crawl and will just start walking. She's very funny and we love it if we can get her to really laugh hard. It seems like she goes through phases of what makes her laugh hard. Right now it is when I show her these animal flash cards and make a corresponding noise to go with the animal. She especially enjoys the peacock noise. She can almost sit up by herself from laying down, she kind of gets up on her elbows. She has just developed the skill of tossing things (paci, toys or lovie) over the side of her car seat. She likes taking a bath. She has a new inflatable tub that goes inside the big tub and she likes to chew on it. She'll probably poke a hole in it with her sharp teeth. That's all I can think of right now. She's a precious girl.
