Here are Ellie Grace's eleven month pictures.
I had to give her something to hold in the pictures below in order to keep her somewhat still. A neosporin tube did the trick.
Dont' worry, I was ready to catch her if necessary |
She found her bow |
She found her sticker |
so serious about her book, even though it's upside down |
*She weighed 20lbs
9oz at her last doctor visit. Not sure about height.
*She mostly wears
size 6-12 month & 12 month clothes.
*She eats solids 3x
a day and has just a bottle 2x for a total of eating 5x a day.
*We have started
giving her a lot of food other than pureed baby food because she wasn't taking
it well anymore. She likes to eat bananas, pears, peaches, toast, baby meat
sticks, rotisserie chicken, peas, cheese and puffs. I've tried other stuff but
I don't think she likes the texture. Anytime I put something warm in her mouth
like mashed potatoes or a baked sweet potato she acts like it's disgusting. I
think it's because she's never really had anything warm. I never warmed her
milk or baby food.
*She crawls and
pulls up on stuff. She still hasn't stood up in her crib yet which I'm glad of
but I am surprised she hasn't.
*She still will not
drink from her sippy cup. I give her water from a squeeze top water bottle when
I think she needs it.
*She has four teeth
on top, two on the bottom and two coming up on the bottom.
Side note, I
just asked Josh to help me with this. I said, "what would you like to say
about Ellie Grace at eleven months?" His exact words were,
"beautiful." I think he means that he thinks she is beautiful. I
would agree.
*Last month I
posted that she did patty cake motions. Well now she won't do patty cake
herself, she wants to take my hands or whoever's hands that are holding her and
make them clap during patty cake.
*If you ask her for
a kiss she will open her mouth and lean in toward your mouth for a kiss. It's
so cute.
*She's still a
really good waver and will wave at random or on command.
*She will blow a
kiss.
*She says mama,
dada, ball and makes a whole lotta noises.
*She does the sign
'please' and I think she does 'more' but it's really more like a clap.
She's a precious girl and we love her.
