I haven't been doing a good job on Sunday morning getting Ellie Grace's picture and this past Sunday was no exception. Our camera is sick because it fell off the counter onto Ellie Grace's head. She's fine, not the camera. I did get one picture that wasn't blurry with my phone. (if you are keeping up, you'll notice I didn't get a picture last Sunday, just call me slacker)

The Little Gym

Ashley & I took the girls to The Little Gym this past Thursday. It was a fun experience. It wasn't as fun as I hoped it would be because Ellie Grace didn't want me to help her do anything but if I didn't help her she would bust her face and I wasn't having that so it was basically a 45 minute battle of our wills with spectators, always fun. I think it will be much more fun when she is 2 and is capable of doing the things by herself.

Sometimes I can't resist tucking her shirt in and pulling her pants up a little higher than socially acceptable just because I think it's cute and funny. So that is what happened below. 

She found some Kcups in the pantry, I thought it would be fine to play with............

Adventures in Dog Sitting

I know I just posted a couple of posts ago that I'm not an animal person but Emma is not like most animals. :) Emma is my parent's little toy yorkie. She's really the best dog I've ever been around, which is not many. Given that fact, we offered to keep her while my parents went out of town. It was a blast for Ellie Grace but it did further reinforce my non -animal person stance. We would gladly host her in our home again though. :)

PetSmart is great fun! Who knew?

I'm not much of an animal person, it's no secret but I do enjoy going to PetSmart with Ellie Grace and showing her all the animals she's only seen in books. Josh & I did that a couple of Saturdays ago and it was really fun. I can see us doing that quite a bit.

There was a big room in the very back called "doggy day care" and there was just a bunch of dogs in there playing around. I was surprised they didn't fight each other. Ellie Grace loved watching them.

We also saw dogs getting groomed, cats, birds, guinea pigs and a hamster. 

Playtime with Cousin Piper

I watched Piper for Andy & Beth a couple of weeks ago while Beth worked on stuff for VBS. We had a great time with her.

Ellie Grace was asleep when Piper arrived so we had some one on one playtime.

She enjoyed playing "dress up" with an old pair of my glasses.

Lunch with two was a little challenging. Props to all the parents of multiples!

Then we went on a walk in the bike trailer that is also a double stroller. It was much heavier with two kiddos in there. I didn't attempt to pull them behind a bike. They did well. At one point they had interlocked arms but I didn't get it on camera. I don't know if you can tell very well in this picture but by the time we were done Ellie Grace had gotten her arms out of her harness.
